BOMBERS FULL CHEEK SNAFFLE ULTRA COMFY LOCK UP

The Ultra Comfy Lock Up has been designed to suit very sensitive mouthed horses. The shape is such that it follows the contour of the horses tongue. The centre joint has been double locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up, but it retains the individual lateral aids. The Ultra comfy has a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horses mouth. We have found that the need for softer and softer bits has been growing, as breeding has been producing finer and more sensitive horses.

The Full Cheek cheek piece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse's head which is great for schooling purposes. As with the Eggbutt, the release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure.

All Bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it: Oxidises easily, encourages salivation, helps bit acceptance and is warm and sweet.
