Neck Straps are used by riders of all levels. These neck strap (neck rope) adaptors are made from quality English leather and attach to the neck strap then to your breastplate or saddle. To comply with Equestrian Australia rules, a neck strap must be attached to either the saddle or breastplate.

These adaptors are available in two sizes. 65cms which is suitable for attaching to a breastplate or smaller horses for attaching to the D rings of the saddle. 85cms is suitable for attaching to the D rings of a saddle.

Please note if using the clips to attach to the D rings of the saddle, you may like to size down to a 65cm depending on the size of your horse and positioning of the neck strap.

LEATHER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for your purchase of your Flexible Fit product. In order to maximise the lifecycle of your products, we have included these care instructions for you to follow.

How to maintain your bridle/leather product

Flexible Fit products are unique in that they are pre oiled in the vegetable tanning process. You will notice how soft the leather is when you receive your Flexible Fit product, and this means that maintaining your bridle/leather products is simple.

The following steps should be adhered to in order to maximise the life of your product.

Once you receive your product, try it on for fit. Do not do up the buckles as this will mark the leather, instead thread through the keepers in case you need to exchange the size. When you are certain that it fits properly, do the following BEFORE use.
Use a leather cream such as Effax Leather Balsam to nourish and moisturise the leather. You will need to pay particular attention to the headpiece and make sure it is well moisturised.
During the first two weeks of use you should cream your bridle 2-3 times per week to lubricate the leather fibres.
DO NOT condition the leather every day after the first two weeks.
DO NOT EVER use liquid oil.
Once the leather is soft and well-conditioned, maintenance should be minimal. Occasional creaming is recommended once every 1-2 months.
An occasional saddle soap can be used and can be wiped with a damp cloth at owner’s discretion by following product label directions. Do not use product on the bridle every day.
If your bridle looks cracked or creased, you have not given the leather adequate leather conditioner, or not adequately conditioned the bridle before use.
Clean your patent with a petroleum jelly (minimal amount)

Within Australia we send items via Australia Post and you have the option at checkout of using either regular parcel post or express post.

Any Import Duties or Customs Taxes are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and we strongly advise to check with your local customs house. We send all international packages with a shipping receipt for customs clearance. The vast majority of packages pass through customs without issue. Some areas do attract an import fee. Local charges and taxes are outside of our control.

Flexible Fit Equestrian – Exchange Policy

At Flexible Fit Equestrian, we are committed to ensuring our customers are happy with their purchases. You are more than welcome to exchange your purchase for a different size or style within 30 days of purchase.

Eligibility for Exchange

Items must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order number) must be provided.
Items must be unused and in new condition. Browbands must be returned in their original packaging.
Please ensure when fitting our products that you do not do up the buckles, as this can mark the leather and will not be able to be returned. Instead, thread through the keepers only until you are happy with the style and fit.
Bits can only be returned for exchange or store credit within 30 days, provided all packaging and tags remain intact. Unfortunately, if the bit has been tried on or in the horse’s mouth, or if tags have been removed, we are unable to accept the return.

Non-Exchangeable Items

We do not offer exchanges on the following items unless they are faulty:

Special order or personalised items (e.g., engraved tack or items made to customer specifications)
Sale or clearance items (listed in the sale section of our website or in clearance baskets at trade events)

How to Request an Exchange

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or was sent in error. Please include a prepaid bag for us to return the exchanged item back to you.

Additional Information

For online orders, we recommend using tracked postage.
Exchanges will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned item.
We will only contact customers if there is an issue fulfilling the exchange. Please keep a copy of your prepaid bag’s tracking number you have supplied so you can track it and know when the exchange is on it's way back to you.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty or not as described:

Email your proof of purchase, a description of the fault, and photos to sales@ffequestrian.com.
The product may be required to be returned to us at PO BOX 2026, Hackham SA 5163 for assessment and to ensure it is a manufacturing fault. This helps us maintain the highest standards by addressing any manufacturing issues.
We will offer an exchange, repair, or refund in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
We offer a 12 month guarentee on all of our products against manufacturing faults. We also offer free crystal replacement for the life of your browband.

Refunds

We generally do not issue refunds but are happy to provide store credit that can be used anytime.
In some cases where no exchange option is available, we may offer a refund; however, this will be minus a 10% fee to cover payment provider charges.

65 cm length works for pony

I got the 65 cm length + the clips for a pony (a solid 12 hh) and that length is suitable to go to the D rings on the saddle.

Makes the job easier

These clips enable the neck strap to stay put . The neck strap gives me confidence when I am riding in new areas and so I don't pull on my horse's face. It is wonderful piece of kit. I do think however the clips could be shorter.

Sizing large ⚠️ Great product ❤️

85cm attachments: way too long. I added a hole 12cm up otherwise it would be half way down my horses neck. It would be great if more holes are added.

Be mindful if you'll attache with clips is will add about 7cm length.
